La EDT | WBS actúa como un mapa detallado que descompone tu proyecto en tareas manejables, lo que te permite visualizar cada elemento y su relación con el conjunto, lo cual es esencial para el éxito.

Un EDT es Una herramienta visual para definir y dar seguimiento a los entregables de un proyecto y todos sus componentes más pequeños necesarios para cumplir con la entrega (para crear el producto). Con un WBS | EDT puedes mantenerte enfocado en lo que necesitas relazar, completar, lograr mientras avanzas hacia la fecha de entrega del proyecto.
La primera vez que me enfrenté a un EDT | WBS fue cuando estuve encargado como Project manager (mis inicios como Project Manager Descalzo) para el programa de expansión de Kentuky Fried Chiken para México, básicamente en la zona centro del país; la zona metropolitana de la Cuidad de México y estados vecinos.
El proyecto consistía en construir 30 tiendas en 1 año, el encargado por parte de KFC para América Latina, fue el que me lo mostró; yo esperaba un programa de trabajo a base de barras de Gantt. Nada parecido, cuando vi el esquema, humildemente tuve que admitir que no sabía que era un EDT o WBS, escuchen el relato completo en el podcast. Trabajando con este material empecé a entender su importancia y la aplicación estratégica sobre el control total del proyecto.
Cuales son los beneficios
Utilizar esta herramienta | framework | metología de manera colaborativa con la participación de los integrantes del equipo.
Partiendo los entregables –milestones– en pedazos que pueden ser medidos | dimensionados lo que sale a la superficie son la ACTIVIDADES que el equipo deberá ejecutar, así que si te ayudan con la creación dé WBS, en muchos casos ellos te indicaran que esa tarea cae dentro de su ámbito de responsabilidad.
Por otro lado se producirá una tormenta de ideas, reforzando la ideas de que ralamente se está considerando todos los ángulos a los que se les pondrá atención durante la ejecución.
Niveles
el WBS se compone de los diferentes niveles desde la idea, el concepto esquema básico de WBS, se forma a base de casilleros; en el primer nivel el proyecto total, el entregable máximo, después dentro de esos casilleros lo milestones principales . Los objetivos primarios a alcanzar o entregables. luego las actividades que deben, por último en la categorización las tareas tácticas.
Si hacer participe a tú equipo será invaluable para la obtención de los resultados adecuados para ti Project Manger Descalzo, ya que ellos tendrán los objetivos en la mira, actuarán sobre su campo de responsabilidad y entregarán un mejor producto , y esto vale oro
ALINEADO CON EL OBJETIVO | META | RESULTADO ESPERADO POR STAKEHOLDERS
Muy importante, ya que al partirlo en pedazos, debes contar con toda la información y entender que es lo que están analizando incorporado con los objetivos sobre todo las especificaciones para entregar con la calidad esperada. este enfoque te ayudará a obtener un solido WBS de tres niveles principalmente.
UTILIZA VERBOS PARA EL NIVEL 4
Para colocar las tareas tácticas en los casilleros correspondientes al nivel 4, nómbralas iniciando con verbos.
Cada tarea táctica –>con su concepto completo, y dentro de la descripción utilizar verbos asociados con la tarea
Ej: crear | producir | entregar | probar etc. verbos activos. la acción buscada.
Un ejemplo para tare táctica: Entregar los closets, colocados en las recamar 1 y2; esto implica la acción y se derivará con líneas más profundas tal vez con conceptos dentro del cronograma definitivo.
TRANSFERIR TODOS LOS HALLAZGOS AL PLAN DEL PROYECTO
y como está integrado de manera colaborativa, no se duplicarán esfuerzos, de manera que trasladarlo a la plataforma de planeación (MS PROJECT) se vuelve muy fácil de realizar, lo que quedaría pendiente solamente es: confirmar las responsabilidades de cada miembro del equipo con la tareas asignada y las fechas compromiso | fechas de vencimiento | fechas de entrega y trasladarlo a un cronograma o programa de trabajo.
